The Department of Electronic Systems and Signal Processing was established in 1998 as a result of the transformation of the studio of microelectronic filters and Digital Signal Processing Systems, established in 1995 at the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications of Poznań University of Technology.
On 01.05.2017, the Electronic Systems and Signal Processing Laboratory changed its organizational status to the Electronic Systems and Signal Processing Department, which is part of the newly created Institute of Automation and Robotics at the Faculty of Computer Science, Poznań University of Technology.
Our department is the organizer of the scientific conference Signal Processing: Algorithms, Architectures, Arrangements and Applications (SPA) http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/conhome.jsp?punumber=1800373. Among the objectives of the conference are: presentation of the latest developments in the broad and interdisciplinary field of signal processing (in particular audio and video), but also the integration of researchers active in this field.
