The measurement platform for testing the quality of operation of airport lamps enables the inspection of lamps built into the runway, taxiways and aprons. Carrying out this type of measurements is a prerequisite for meeting the relevant requirements by an airport with a given certification of precision approach systems of the appropriate ILS category. During the test, the parameters of the main beam of light emitted by the lamps are checked, i.e. angular dependencies and luminous intensity, which are strictly defined by international standards ICAO and EASA
